Daily Scripture Reading for February 29

Romans 14:13-16

¹³Let us therefore no longer pass judgment on one another, but resolve instead never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of another. ¹⁴I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. ¹⁵If your brother or sister is being injured by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. Do not let what you eat cause the ruin of one for whom Christ died. ¹⁶So do not let your good be spoken of as evil.

There is a book in the library with the title, “I’m fine with God… It’s Christians I can’t stand”. We wonder why those seekers have, over the course of centuries… stopped seeking Christian believers. Most times… we don’t act like believers. Being a Christian is like being in a zoo or a circus… someone is always watching… staring… contemplating… waiting to see what we do. And whether or not they come to Christ just may depend on the pretty peacock feathers or circus trick (stumbling blocks) we show them.
